It's been a long time, but I'm back to post something! I've been busy as hell, first attempting to finish up school FOR GOOD and get that elusive Bachelor's degree, then looking for a job. Got both (the degree back in December and the job last week), so here's a celebratory piece of fan art from Bioshock Infinite.

I'm going to stop slacking and keep adding art to this blog. I now have no excuses and plenty of free time (however long that lasts).

Drawings

Some drawings I did without the use of a computer. It was weird, because it seems like I am kind of out of practice with a pencil! My paintings in photoshop keep getting better, but the drawing with traditional media might be regressing. I've got to practice with my sketchbook more often.

I've been working on finishing that The Darkness fan-arty thing, but I had to take a break to do this little doodle of my favorite plant in Plants vs. Zombies.  I only like it because it's cute. I don't own any rights to this game. Or else I would not be a broke college student...

Art Dump

I've been MIA for awhile concerning this blog, mostly because I have had a lot of work to do for graduation. Here's an art dump of what I've been doing. Some of it is actually (GASP) 3D, which I hardly ever do.

I've got a few more paintings but unfortunately they are all part of projects that have not gone far enough in production to allow me to post the work freely yet! It's some really fun stuff so I can't wait to post it. 

All the rocks and plants that you see with my models were made by my friend, Matt Dulemba. I'll link his blog here once I get the url for it. Also, that dino (if you didn't read the text with the image) is from turbosquid. I just got it to showcase my ability to paint textures :)

I am alive!

Some newer stuff, mostly just silly things. I'm working on a couple of big projects right now so sometime in the (hopefully near) future I'll get to post them. For now, here's some stuff I did for fun.

I played The Darkness 2 recently and it was really fun despite having some serious sexism issues that almost ruined the game for me. I thought I'd do a fan art thing of me with the darkness:

Still WIP, but I'm sure it'll get finished someday if I ever manage to get through this quarter in one piece at school.

ALSO, a couple of sketches and a repaint of that dumb couch you've seen twice already. Just wanted to see if I could make it better while using it for another project.

Some old concepts that I did for a game I worked on in school called Olive. None of these ended up being used, but some elements of their design were incorporated into our final creature concepts. If you've seen the deer creature I posted previously, the branch antlers and leaf tail were frankensteined together to create it.
